The planet on which Mobians reside. The planet is covered in a vast ocean, with sparse archipelagos scattered across. Bigger islands (M.I.Z) are usually home to the most land Mobians and have the largest cities. The climate is generally tropical, with hot and sunny days, with lots of rain as well. Versatile marine weather is extremely common, resulting in high waves and storms. This gave rise to the popularity of competitions in the water, especially Extreme Surfing, which uses Modified Extreme Gear that was adapted to resemble surfboards and be more hydrodynamic. These competitions are hosted near islands, where there are more waves. However, there are several smaller floating villages in the ocean. On top of that, there is an entirely different civilization of Aquatic Mobians that live under the sea and don’t interact with the above-water Mobians very often.

major island zones (m.i.z)

The name of various large islands that have huge populations and gigantic cities. These Zones also usually have a major G.U.N presence. Examples of M.I.Z are including but are not limited to Station Square, Grand Metropolis, Central City, Solleana, and Spagonia.

angel island

Once known as Angel Mountain, it is an island that is surrounded by mystery and intrigue. Due to immense amounts of Chaos energy, the island is constantly surrounded by troubled waters and lightning storms, which cause several ships to crash. This has left a dark reputation, with Mobians believing that this mysterious Angel Island is full of treasure, is cursed, or doesn’t exist at all. It, however, houses the fabled Master Emerald, which Knuckles protects. Knuckles is the only resident of this island and has had to deal with several wildfires that are caused by lightning storms in the area, causing him to be wary of fire at a young age. He is also one of the only living souls able to navigate to and from Angel Island and its disturbed coast.
