A team consisting of Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles

Sonic grew up in a floating village that was not too far from an island city. As he grew, he took a great interest in surfing competitions and racing. One problem: He was deathly afraid of water, and didn’t know how to swim. Despite his amazing speed on land, his fear of water truly impeded the distance he could go. However, as he grew older and became bolder, he discovered that he could go fast enough to run on water. Now, he participates in races and uses his incredible speed to help around Mobius wherever he can! He is a more laid-back and mature guy, and while he is active, resting and relaxing after a long day of running. That isn’t to say that he isn’t cocky, he is and has his moments of youthful immaturity slip out in split-second moments. Even with all of that growth he has done over the years of fighting Eggman, he never lost sight of the importance of having his friends nearby and is more aware of his strengths and weaknesses. Heck, Knuckles still has to fish Sonic out of the water when he falls into the water during surf competitions!

Tails was always bullied by the others in his village for his two tails. He was instantly captivated when he saw a blue blur run across the water. With his tails, he flew after the hedgehog and instantly became close friends with Sonic. He has a knack for creating inventions, and even created the vest that Sonic wears, which is stylish and can inflate into a lifevest! Growing up around Sonic from a young age has shaped his personality. While he still is a nerdy kid at heart, he has a lot more spunk and self-confidence in his abilities. He is much braver and will not hesitate to make quick decisions if his friends are on the line! A detriment to him growing up however is his hotheadedness. While he is calculated, being a teenager has made him more snappy when he’s irritable, and he has his angsty teen moments.

Knuckles grew up alone, being the last echidna meant that he had to guard the Master Emerald against any thieves. He had to tend to both the shrine and Angel Island. With the weather, lightning often struck the trees, causing wildfires. This resulted in Knuckles developing a phobia of fire. His life was quiet and isolated, however, when meeting Sonic and having a scuffle with Dr. Eggman, he became a permanent member of Sonic’s friend group. Knuckles may be stoic and stern on the surface, but it is very easy for his friends to see his more adventurous spirit, his love for treasure hunting, and his competitive streak. While Knuckles may be stronger in this world, with gliding and being able to dive underwater for long periods, it doesn’t mean that he doesn’t value his friend’s unique qualities and strengths he may not possess.
